Welcoming stay with exceptional staff! The breakfast had great options, and I felt truly at home during my visit. My room was comfortable with all needed amenities.

My time at The Alex was quite enjoyable. The location stood out, close to Trinity College and just a short walk to the bustling city center. The King Room I got was beautifully designed. Loads of space made it comfortable for relaxing after exploring all day. I loved having a Nespresso machine in the room. Free bottled water. The gym shared with nearby hotels was impressive, plenty of equipment available. One hiccup came with check-in. I arrived early and had to wait a while for my room to be ready. I understand it was my fault for arriving at 11 am, but a bit more efficiency would have been nice. The breakfast buffet provided a fair selection, but it felt slightly overpriced. Staff friendliness was a constant plus throughout my stay, always willing to help out. Overall, a great experience with a few small areas to improve.

Also, the coffee machine didn’t work, leading to a prolonged wait for a fix, which broke the flow of my morning. On top of that, I found it oddly quiet in the bar during the evenings—sure, it may have been nice to unwind, but a bit more atmosphere wouldn't hurt. Parking seems tight too. if you're driving, plan on some extra time to figure it out.
